This story about Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child, Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off into the woods to break the curse and that is just the beginning.
Quality Music and Dance is Excited to add musical theatre classes to their program line up.
Quality Music Center is a family owned and operated music, dance, and theatre school in Chesapeake VA. Founded in 1997, Our classes are taught with positive, encouraging teaching styles, by our staff of professional educators who will guide them with patience, creativity, and laughter! Our fully-staged performances highlight professional set design, costuming, lighting and sound, and will always be an excellent choice for all ages to attend.
Once enrolled, students will audition and be cast in a role and will receive acting, singing, and dancing guidance no matter their experience or skill level - NO PART IS A SMALL PART! Each program will culminate in a fully-staged, live performances.

Classes start February 10th and are on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Auditions will be held the third week of class casting will be announced by email before the following Friday. This class will end with two performances of Into The Woods Jr. on Saturday May 13th. Tech rehearsal in the theater on Friday May 5th Dress rehearsal in the theater on Friday May 12th.
The Musical Theater class will be taught by our professionally trained director, Music director and Choreographer. The classes will cover acting, singing and dancing technics. The Children’s Theatre is a nurturing non competitive atmosphere where creativity is key and laughter is a must!
Tuition for our theater program includes Weekly 2 hour classes. Tech rehearsal, dress rehearsal and Costume usage. You will be responsible for black slip on jazz shoes and appropriate undergarments based on costume, show tickets. And a optional show T-shirt. This production is open to all Children in grades 4th and up. Tuition is $450. 3 month easy pay of $150
